I took PHysics, great class ever.  My teacher got pregnant so we had this replacement.  He's like if the final is gonna hurt your grades, then don't take it.

All we ever did in that class was kick back and relax.  Hell sometimes we could even drive to the local del taco, pick up some food and bring it back into class  :headbang

My Chem teacher's husband jumped of a mountain, so we had a chemistry replacement for grade 12 who "didn't believe in homework", good concept. Watched me copy tests off of the smart kids and answered "I get paid either way". Got a 93 in the class and a 57 on the govt. final exam, gliding to the easiest 75 I ever got in a class.

Day started off pretty well. Out of the blue, some senior I never even knew existed just starting talking to me. Really nice girl, but all downhill after that. I received homework in the following classes: Pre-Cal (left the book at school. Thank you Study Hall for saving me there), German V (finished, yay), Psych (bleh) and AP Econ.

What was my AP Econ homework on the first day? 400 word Internal Assessment in which I have to comment on a magazine article and apply it to economic theory.

YAY!

You have any questions I'll try to help. Econ is what my degree is in..

" I wish I could go to highth school."

"Don't you say that, don't you ever say that. Stay HERE, stay as long as you can. You have to cherish it. You do!...You do!"

My only words of consolation is if your high school is anything like mine, they rarely fail the guys in honors and AP. I essentially did nothing my senior year even though I had AP American Government, AP Spanish IV, AP British Literature, Honors Pre-Cal (or some other ridiculously useless math class), Honors Economics, and a handful of other classes I can't remember. I think I had some sort of Moral Philosophy and Physics thrown in there somewhere.

I agree with that.

True story: In my honors World History class sophomore year, the teacher gave everyone in the class an 'A'. He explained that everyone in class except two people actually earned an 'A'(Primarily because his tests were the sample tests taken from the end of each chapter of our textbook.) He then explained that he gave the other two people an 'A' because one kid came to all his football games(The teacher was the soph football coach too) and the other kid got an 'A' because the teacher knew the kid's dad, and therefore didn't want to piss him off.

Gotta love Chicago Catholic high schools.

Wow, I could never be that laid back with my class...

But then again, you could wear White Sox gear, and then all would be ok...

On the subject of school, I was chatting with ElCaballo45 the other day, and he gave me a great idea to use when I finally become a math teacher in a year. Whenever I ask for a student to put a math problem on the board, I will tell him or her "You can put it on the boooooooooard, Yesssssssss!!!"

And if someone drops the class and a student asks you where he is you could tell them "HE GAWN".

Good luck trying to incorporate "Duck snort" into the classroom.

Mah Junior Schedule...

0-Band

1- PE/Study Hall

2 - American Government

3 - Newspaper (I am the asst. editor in chief)

4 - Analysis (We cover trig and get into Calculus at the end of the year.)

5 - Band

6 - AP literature

7/8 - Chemistry

I am also a Junior class rep and am the head athletic trainer. Gotta work a lot harder this year to maintain the 4.0, though.

Analysis wasn't too bad, but AP Calc the next year sucked

My advice for any AP class you take, take the AP exam if it's an option, even if you think you are gonna do s***ty on it. You never know what you'll score and it can't hurt you. It's worth some hours at college if you can get em.
