Which ties his M.L. best back in 2000.... Keep them coming Carlos! Lets see if you can get on a homer groove now....

GO SOX + #45!

I think a lot of us have been critical about Carlos over the last couple years. And quite frankly, The criticism has been fair. But I think this season Carlos has pretty much silenced the critics. He could quite possibly finish with atleast 35 hr's and somwhere around 115-120 rbi's, Not to mention a .300 average being within reach. Those r the kinda numbers we thought he could put up all along. and his defense is about 5 times better than it was in 2001. Way to go Carlos :headbang

Yeah, I was most impressed after his 8 error season in 2001, he worked with a personal trainer all winter and in 2002, he only had one error, (probably in a dome somewhere in Minny  ) and was making web gems on baseball tonight once every 2 weeks.... But yeah, Im hoping for around 33-35 HR with about 115 RBI's when this year is done... That would be great coming from Carlos's #1 Fan!

Heather is sure to argue with me here on that note..... :o

Don't forget he's doing all of this from the 2 spot in the batting order.

Well, sort of, he was in the 5 spot all year until Everett arrived, then he's consistantly played in the 2 spot when the starter is a righty, and he goes to the 5 spot when the starter is a lefty.... since Graffanino and Alomar take the 1st 2 spots.. but yeah, he has been damn productive from the 2 spot once he got there...

Carlos seemed to pick up his game a notch when this team needed it most. Around late May or so, he just seemed to start being more aggresive in all aspects of his game. Hustling for the extra base, diving catches, that sort of thing.

Carlos has been our most consistent player all year and our First Half MVP. Without his production when our bats were struggling we probably still wouldn't be in this race.

How can you not give Carlos his props at this point? He's been very solid, in all aspects, this season.

Some people never change their minds, no matter what the evidence.
