Must See Short Season Prospects

Featured Replies

Now, I would like to see some players you all are excited to watch as they start their season in a few days.

Personally, I am interested to see how Tim Anderson starts off his professional career in Bristol. Sammy Ayala was hitting well towards the end of his first year in Bristol, and I think he can have a solid 2013 campaign. Keon Barnum, 1st rounder from 2012, starts the season in Bristol, where he appeared in just 13 games last season. Hopefully, this year will yield strong numbers for him.

I'm also interested in seeing how Nick Basto does in his second year too.

Is Bristol going to have Ayala, Tim Anderson, Barnum, Basto, and Michalczewski? That will be a box score I check daily. Especially with Danish pitching there. Mitchell is going to Great Falls. Hopefully as a SP.

I'll be keeping my eye on Zewski, Danish, and Keon Barnum.

Yeah, that's a curious one. He was so awful last year that I'm wondering if there's anything to him.

I think so. Is the best way to follow them the Gametracker/Audio? I'm a bit annoyed that I miss the opener. I work from 8-5:30ish PST (11-8:30ish EST) that day. Might catch the tail end.

Also, is there a season preview yet?

FS will post season previews for both rookie affiliates sometime before first games.

GF just posted their roster announcement yesterday, haven't seen Bristol announce yet.

Well, looks like Tim Anderson and Keon Barnum are both in Kannapolis now.
