June 23, 201312 yr Well, we're only 10 below .500 now. Still a nice win. Royals fans are pissed, though. After we let the Hosmer triple drop (WTF with him doing that stupid flap after his triple; what a joke) they couldn't get the run in. The Sox might not be in this position if a.) they had a catcher who could hit and block balls better. b.) they had a corner infielder with true power. c.) They had better defense in CF and had their heads in the game at all times. I'd add that we'd be better off w/out Dunn for mental reasons (when he's going bad he's so bad it deflates the fans at The Cell) but he does have 18 homers.
