June 27, 201312 yr Josh Phegley is not a value-less prospect. There are reasons to be skeptical, but if we were a team that is buying he could be a part of a good package.
June 28, 201312 yr QUOTE (bbilek1 @ Jun 27, 2013 -> 12:03 PM) Could you elaborate? Are you implying they could be trying to move him? If so, I don't know if that would be the right move for a team devoid of young talent on the MLB roster. While Phegley isn't a surefire starter, he could make a difference. Off the top of my head, he seems to be the only "MLB ready"/older prospect performing well. His .328 average against RHP really sticks out to me. His current 2-17 skid has had a pretty big effect on his average too. IIRC, he suffered an injury 2 weeks (give or take a couple days) back. Does anyone remember what the injury was? Perhaps it's nagging or something that could affect his swing (wrist, hand, etc.). I was thinking more like he has a hole they don't want other teams to get figured out until he fixes it.
