Just caught wind of this on the MLB boards...haven't verified.

Confirmed from kcroyals.com. They gave up two minor leaguers, Brian Sanches and Chris Tierney.

The Royals are mortgaging alot of thier future trading all of these minor leaguers for a third place finish.

Rondell White is crap, think Al Martin, slightly younger. Who the hell cares.

I don't think much of White, but he is batting .483 lifetime against us.

I think the better deal was the Royals getting Anderson, pretty safe pickup.

He batted like crap in the AL for the Yankmees, I know that. Aquiring pitching can't hurt them, but a bat that doesn't even improve their lineup, why?

I think this is a good trade for KC, but I still don't think it wins them the central if we play like we can. The Anderson trade was good for KC also. It helps there staff and they didn't give up any players that were worth anything.

Sanches is the better of the two prospects dealt. Workhorse reliever for AA, decent K/IP ratio, great K/BB ratio.

White is not great, but it's a good pickup by KC. ....... hey! These guys are not going away. Hope we have a 5 game lead heading in that final series in KC. :D
