March 26, 201412 yr Nicely done. I think you nailed it on the head at the end of your article. They want both players, so Nieto has to make the MLB roster to do so. Also, he is a switch hitter, which helps this predominately right-handed lineup. I look forward to seeing how he does in a limited role this year...if that impedes his growth like you suggest it could.
