August 31, 200322 yr I'll post inning by inning updates of the Twins vs Rangers game which has just started now. It got delayed by rain, and the KC vs Anaheim game got washed out and will be made up in a double header tomorrow i think. Anyways bottom of the 2nd now, and it's 0-0. Santana vs Callaway.
August 31, 200322 yr Author They don't go to Arizona. After the Texas Series they play Arizona once at Kaufman Stadium on the 4th of September. We still got 2 crucial series' against them. Young just doubled to left center with 1 out, good chance for the Rangers to put one on the board early against Santana.
August 31, 200322 yr A rod, a $25 million pop out to CF to strand a runner Don't be too hard on A-Rod, blame Texas ownership. I really, almost you could say appreciate how Rodriguez stays positive with such a brudal team.
August 31, 200322 yr Author Rivas flies out to center, Mientkiewicz grounds out to Shoprtstop, and LecRoy K's Swinging still 0-0 at the top of the 4th. Callaway's actually pitching pretty good.

I dunno how he continues to play hard day after day on this team. I suppose they had a 8 game winning streak? going last week before they came to U.S Cell. but the only way they're gonna get better if guys like Lewis, Dominguez and Dickey develop the way Webb and Willis have this year. I reckon the signing of Ho Park crippled this team more than A-Rod, at least he still plays every day.
August 31, 200322 yr Author Spencer doubles to right with 1 out. Santana's lookin a little shaky, Rangers gotta make him pay.
August 31, 200322 yr Author Thames K's swinging and Sadler ground out to third leaving Spencer stranded at 2nd. Still 0-0 entering the top of the 5th.
August 31, 200322 yr Author DAMN, Stewart singles to Center and both Pierzynski and Hocking score with 0 out. 2-0 Twins in the top of the 6th.
August 31, 200322 yr Looks like the Twins won this one. On a positive note, Santana left in the seventh with a hammy injury. I pray he tore something. That's not very nice.
August 31, 200322 yr That's not very nice. Yeah, but a lot of us are thinking the same thing. I don't mind wanting a guy to get hurt. I yelled out loud "YES" when I was watching the Yankees game when Jeter got hurt.
