Eddy Alvarez interview - taking questions

Featured Replies

Kind of late notice, but I am going to be interviewing Eddy Alvarez (Kanny infielder and former Olympic speedskater) tomorrow (Wednesday) late afternoon. What questions would people like to ask Eddy?

Hi. Who are you?

What has been the most difficult transition for you making the switch from speedskating to baseball? What motivated you to make such a dramatic change? What were your expectations on your skating ability translating to baserunning? Does it give you an advantage?

*Edit - Are you cool with the nickname "Fast" Eddy Alvarez?

What sort of habits or traits from speed skating can you carry over to the diamond? Do you feel speed skating gives you an advantage?

Kind of a dumb, soft question but......

Which Kanny teammate or major leaguer would make the best speedskater? Which speedskater would make the best baseball player?

What is the best piece of advice that your older brother Nick (played in Dodgers minor league system) has given you about minor league baseball life?

You'll enjoy the interview. He's a real good guy.

I can't think of a question that hasn't already been posted, but I'm looking forward to this interview. It should be very interesting. I hope he continues to perform well, I'll definitely be rooting for him.
