Appier Gone!

Featured Replies

Appier won a couple games for them and thats all that matters to the Royals. it was worth it to them just to get that little bit out of him.

Don't be shocked if you see Grienke called up if the rotation gets in any more shambles.

Appier was 1-2 with a 4.26 ERA in four starts with the Royals.

yeah.... really worth it :)

He put the Royals in position to win in 3 of the 4 starts. Wasn't his fault they didn't score the runs.

I'm going off memory here, but I thought he had 3 quality starts. I know he lost one game where he gave up like 2 runs.

KC's outta it now...They're gonna fall way back within the next couple weeks. This is why the Twins are our real competition here. And when we play KC at the end of the season, they're probably gonna be tired as hell, and those games may not be so hard for us.

Grienke is not Comming up. I saw him in Winter ball and Folks, he's gonna be a good one.

Now write to KC beat Writer. LOL!! :)

Grienke is an unbelievable pitcher. Imo, he may be the best pitching prospect right now.

I agree. He's soo good that the royals let him make his Pro Debut in Winter Ball. He played down here for the Mayaguez Indians with Joe Borchard, Willie, Jose and company

Kevin Appier won 1 game shutting out the Yanks. Hmmm.. if the Royals win the AL Central by a game he'll be worth it.
