September 2, 201411 yr Brandon Morrow could be interesting for the right price, I highly doubt TOR would pick up their club option on him.
September 2, 201411 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 1, 2014 -> 07:46 PM) Some guys are just not as good as their numbers say, whether it is a flaw in the numbers, or whatever else can be argued. Edwin Jackson is one of those guys. Incredible stuff, just never quite realized how to use it. For sure. And he's lost those extra ticks on his fastball that would bail him out. No way he's pumping easy 96-98 anymore.

Edwin Jackson is one of those guys. Incredible stuff, just never quite realized how to use it. Saw some splits on him not long ago that showed his major problem is the first inning, almost every single time. If you can somehow figure out how to not make it disastrous every time out, he'd be much more valuable.
September 2, 201411 yr QUOTE (woods of ypres @ Sep 1, 2014 -> 10:32 PM) Erik Johnson gets another crack, right? He starts at AAA next year and has to earn his way into the big leagues again. If he can find his fastball again great. If not, he sits at AAA until he winds up trying the bullpen route in a year or two.
September 2, 201411 yr Ya I have 0 faith in EJ at this point. If he finds his arm again, great, if not then he's toast.
