Heather, i was an ND fan before i was an illini fan My grandpa was an ND fan because it was one of the only catholic schools left - being a very religious man. This got passed onto my dad at a young age and he has been an ND fan his whole left. Therefore, since i was about 4, saturday's have always been ND football for me. My dad introduced me to ND and i took care of the rest and am now a diehard. So it's not some random fairweather thing (and considering since i've supported them they've had some pretty bad years)

Ya but it's pretty damn hard to get into especially if your parents didn't go there. I had good numbers but not stellar enough to go to ND
