November 23, 201411 yr i hate to say this, but a poster describe it as bin driving, and as the state of the sox systems, i don't mind the sox brass doing it. every once in a while they might find a great find and he will be a great value.

They were unsuccessful. This has nothing to do with service time and everything to do with the Dodgers being sneaky or misjudging the market and the White Sox capitalizing and retaining the rights to a guy who has a pretty live arm. I wonder if this is being used in the rumoured trade talks. The Sox very may have wanted Garcia, but I wonder if maybe they're holding him ransom. "Yeah, you can have him back,IF..." Half joking, btw.
