September 6, 200322 yr Well, its official, Mike Maroth has 20 losses.... I really didnt think he could be a 20 game losing pitcher, but when your team is Detroit, its not too hard... He did get roughed up today though, getting his 20th loss on an 8 E.R. performance Damn, I was sure he was gonna go to "mysterious illness" mode.
September 6, 200322 yr Hmmm they intentiontally walked Konerko. If someone told u in the first half of the year that Paulie would be intentionally walked, well they probably would have thought u'd be crazy. It's a testament to him fighting back and playing great again. Many of us kept the faith in Konerko while others fiddled.
September 6, 200322 yr I see Tim Hummel hit his 2nd homer of the year today... I hope he doesnt get too good! Go Sox + #45!
September 6, 200322 yr Author Blake walks, putting a runner at first with one out. That's Garland's third walk of the game.
September 6, 200322 yr I am following the game by the thread and on MLB game day. It most certainly appears from the MLB chart that Jon has control going tonight. 5 or 6 pitches to Crisp and all on the outside corner for strikes and all lined up on top of each other. Am I seeing the right thing?

September 6, 200322 yr Author Gerut grounds into a 3-6-3-6-3-6-3-6-3-6...double play!!! Going to the bottom of the 6th, 5-0 Sox.

Am I seeing the right thing? You are seeing very correctly...He hasn't been very wild by all means! He's been going at the hitters and has succeded pretty well, as the score card shows.

You don't want to jinx the guy, but Jon has really turned it up the second half and I for one am certainly glad we didn't trade him. He walks a guy and comes back with the DP grounder. Great stuff.
September 6, 200322 yr Author Alomar chops it off the mound, it goes up the middle for a base hit...Next up: Frank Thomas.
September 6, 200322 yr We need Jon to keep pitching like this in the remaining games. It he can win the rest of them, our chances of winning the division will significantly increase big time.
September 6, 200322 yr nice to see garland step up so far everybody forgets he is only 23 and has 3 full years of big league experience a keeper
September 6, 200322 yr Author Maggs flies out to left-center on a DANGEROUS confrontation out there in the outfield...Inning over. Going to the 7th, 5-0 Sox.

Well, Colon has been rather spotty too...We need both Jon and him to step it up... Buehrle and Loaiza seem rather automatic right now.
September 6, 200322 yr Maggs flies out to left-center on a DANGEROUS confrontation out there in the outfield...Inning over. Going to the 7th, 5-0 Sox. What happened out there Heather? Was it at the wall or something? Maggs hit that is.
September 6, 200322 yr Author Broussard hits it into the gap by the patio area; it goes all the way to the wall for a leadoff tripple.
September 6, 200322 yr Buehrle and Loaiza seem rather automatic right now. Did you happen to see Buehrle's start against Detroit.

Do you agree that Colon may be coming around though after two pretty good starts? I for one was just sick over his 2 hitter (home runs) loss by the score of 2-1.
