If we could get a good starting pitcher i'd still trade him (not this year, but in the offseason).

Paulie's been hot, got his ave. up over .250. Still below average performance this season. I'm glad I'm not paying him $6 million a year. Hopefully he will stay hot the rest of the season.

if anything Paulie tries too hard and cares too much. He seems to stress himself into funks.

I still take the position that he is increasing his trade value for next year. Two months ago he was literally untradable. Now we can get something.

 

Some one has to go, because the Sox need to make room for Jeremy Reed in center. That means out of Lee, Everett, Thomas, and Konerko, someone has to go. Sox will undoubtedly try to sign Lee, since he has improved and is still young with pretty good stats this year. Frank, with that option, is almost a lead pipe cinch to be here next year. If they sign Everett, does he play center all year long??? Don't think so. Who is better, Everett or Konerko? I say Everett. PK should go next year.

Everett is 100% gone next year, i'd bet my car on it. But i'l bet KW will see if he can move Paulie for a starting pitcher as Colon will also be gone.

uhh but you dont put a post about him(mb) after every game ............who gives a s*** about what paulie does.... most of us know what he did anyhow from watching or listening to the game... when you present it in this way one would tend to think your rubbin someones nose in something..... we dont give a s*** about paulie... he is not the team by himself......only a part.... which finally has found his groove and is contributing for a change instead of sittin on his ass doing nothing.....

That is why I commented in a separate thread. Read today's game thread. Did I make any in your face commenst there? No. In friday's game thread? No. Do I raise the issue in other threads? No. I confined it to one place, my celebration of PK's heating up. There are those who post their things - such as attacks on PK - in every conceivable thread. I limited mine to clearly labeled threads and no where else.

 

He gets trashed in every thread it seems, I stick to clearly labeled threads and do not post any PK comments in other threads, and I get slammed.

 

If I came across as being in anyone's face, I apologise for that was not my intent.

 

More than that, I shall not say because it seems rules differ here depending on who is who.
