I see tonight as the game that puts us over

Featured Replies

Defeating Santana would crush Minnesota and would likely mean a sweep since they are sending up Radke vs. Loaiza, who has been a Twin killer since the first game he pitched against them this year. It'd be nice to beat Santana who was 5-0 in August. I can see the White Sox beating him. Let's hope JG has his sinker going for him tonight. Things will be ok.

I think tonight is a key "pride" game. I dont think any game will put us over the top for some time still.

Well then, when is that time? Because time is running out. And I think 5 games on KC and 4 on Minnesota by the end of the series could do it. I seriously think that there is no way this team has a chance at getting sweeped by Minnesota or Kansas City anytime this season.

I'm Predicting JG's best pitching preformance of the year.

LET"S GO SOX

every time I think about the Twinkies having seven games left with the Tigers, all I can say is:

We won't be over the top until it is officially OVER.

this season has given us no reason to take ANYTHING for granted.

Thats what i meant when i said i dont think this game is bigger than anyone else. The Royals could come out of nowhere again against us, and we still have to go to the Metrodome, so we just need to keep winning ballgames, and just worry about the next game.

Yep. We all complain that the team doesn't get up for small teams and has a tendency to relax with a lead, and look at some of us. Two game lead and we're icing the champagne! I'm almost thinking that the Twins fight in the ninth may have been a good thing, to let our boys no that they WILL NOT GIVE UP, and that we need to battle and grind until the end.

Santana is 0-2 vs. Sox this year with a 8. something. Of course he's going to be a fricken ace tonight.
