I saw Kanny live, very quick game as both starters (Luis Martinez for KAN) worked quick, saw Tommy Thompson and Brett Austin ejected too

-Martinez has a tall mound presence and looks bigger than earlier this year, would hit 93-95 and had offspeed from 83-88

-Cooper would hit 93-95 but had off speed that varied from 78-88

Zach Fish, Tanner Banks, and Evin Einhardt were named Pioneer League All-Stars, all way too old for the level but Fish has some real impressive numbers, also youngest of that trio at 22

Cooper hit 93-95? Scout gun or stadium gun? Because I had him more 90-91, tocuhed 92, on scout guns in May.

 

You also echo another report I got on Martinez, that his FB is legitimately now 93-94, T95, his command has improved dramatically, and the change is getting better. MiLB featured this game and said some similar things. Big leap for him.

And yes Martinez looked, he was getting hit but nothing big, he was throwing hard in the 'pen before the game too, didn't even get to 100 pitches

Nice outing for Jordan Guerrero. He has stumbled some in high A, but he's hung in there and my be pulling to all together after annihilating low A.

I'm a big fan, just wish he wasn't already 22, he should be in W-S by now with that age

Well, he's relatively new to catching after transitioning from the outfield so that may be why he's behind the curve a bit. It looks like he has some potential with the bat, so might as well see if he can stick behind the plate and he always has the outfield as a fallback plan.
