August 16, 201510 yr I guess I'm bored so I'll start the thread. Also, mlbfarm > milb.com http://mlbfarm.com/index.php?team=CWS Montas with 8 K through 3.1 thus far Alvarez 2/2 with a 3b. Anderson with 2 early Ks
August 17, 201510 yr The Sox might have something in these last 2 6th round picks guys. Zangari with another homer, just mashing the ball.
August 17, 201510 yr If you want to know more than numbers on Montas, check out the twitter feed from the game last night. Will was there in person, had some good info. @FutureSox.

If so, Kanny can be a very interesting team offensively next year Edited August 17, 201510 yr by SoxPride18
August 17, 201510 yr QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Aug 17, 2015 -> 10:30 AM) Chances he will be in Kanny next year? If so, Kanny can be a very interesting team offensively next year I think that will be very likely for him and considering his age (won't turn 19 until May) I expect him to be there all year. While I've been incredibly excited about following Zangari thus far, I can't help but find a lot of this last draft classes start pretty encouraging. Fulmer is throwing great, then some of these lower level arms like Erwin, Stephens, and Cherry are dealing too. Could turn out to be a nice draft when everyone was worried about what the Sox were going to do without a 2nd or 3rd RD pick.

Could turn out to be a nice draft when everyone was worried about what the Sox were going to do without a 2nd or 3rd RD pick. The Sox went pretty heavy on the experienced college guys so you would hope they do well in Rookie Ball. We will have a much better idea of what we have with them when they get to Kannapolis and Winston-Salem next year. But Zangari mashing in Arizona as a 18 year-old is VERY encouraging.
