September 15, 200322 yr The excuse I'm starting to hear is that ND is trying to go with a West Coast offense and Carlyle Holiday is having trouble picking it up. I have to agree, ND=cubs. Both have no offense and what is supposed to be their strengths(pitching and defense) are overrated. I'm tired of seeing ND on every Saturday when there are plenty of other games on with better teams.

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh Every ND game is televised in Chicago (and the nation) because ND isn't in a conference, and therefore can ink its own TV deal with NBC, as opposed to Illinois, Northwestern, and the rest of the s*** teams you just mentioned that have to stay within the parameters of their conference TV deal. But I'm sure you're right about some massive, Chicago-media based conspiracy about how the University of Notre Dame would rather keep it's independent NBC deal rather than lose a couple million dollars a year by joining the Big 10 or some other horses*** conference. September 15, 200322 yr got back to Newark from Ann Arbor at 2 am this morning... Had a great time at the game, enjoyed watching the line of green from the ND section to the exit. Go Blue Hell Yea!
