some of the prospect in AFL are doing well. i am happy about Peter and Lever performance.

 

i was also surprise at May playing. i really thought his concussion would have kept him out.

It's a small sample, but the key for me is that he's making consistent contact and being selective at the plate. The speed and XBH are nice, but he does that in streaks anyway. Power projection can come later, but if he can put the ball in play regularly and take some walks consistently, he's got starter potential. Especially with his defense and arm.

I remember watching his CWS games for Rice and being excited about him hopefully signing and coming aboard.

 

But let the record show that Danman said this before Engel signed....
