    I met Ed Farmer at LAX last year after the last Sox game. No idea how this story is at all relevant, but it was fun to stand around and chat with him for a bit. Nice dude.

    Met Ed in 2012 at the park in Bob Grim's office. Nice guy, very tall and lanky. He went to St. Rita's, I went to Brother Rice so the conversation turned to that.

    He talked about the importance on throwing strikes and pitching to contact. He also spoke about his experience living with kidney/liver disease.
