  1. Forbes, Booker, Lambert with BHam too.
  2. Thanks OneDog, you helped make my point. Madrigal's a 3-tool guy(no power and not a +arm), yet still a top 150 prospect. the kid can play, no doubt. But to get the attention and accolades he does after a single 1/2 season of pro ball boggles my mind.
  3. No offense taken. Just a difference of opinion. I believe there's a lot to be said about playing in the post-season. 1. Individual performance and underlying ability usually rise to the top. That's why they're playing in the post season. 2. It bodes well for future seasons(as in been there before) 3. Creates a positive environment within the organization.
  4. "Birmingham will actually be damn solid right once Madrigal gets promoted."??? I've got to believe they're damn solid right now! Wasn't this the starting WS infield(before Roman's promotion) that went to the playoffs last season? I'm fairly new to this forum. But it appears to me that some posters become enamored by how high a player was drafted or by what some prognosticator has labeled them as. There are players in this organization that have made the playoffs(or helped) in each of their seasons. What the actual point of playing the game? Winning and playing the game the right way!
  5. His dad is Larry Sheets! Ex Oriole. He could hit!
  6. Seeing many of his games and talking with team mates, his reputation of having a good eye gets him borderline pitches as balls. Conversely, free swingers do not get the same calls. Brutal system, but true! Just fyi...
  7. So...it's seemingly less important to be playing well now as opposed potentially to play well?
  8. Sorry, should have been more clear. An OAS(Organizational All Star) vs. Future Sox Top Prospects by Position Which list is a better representation of the Sox Minor League system right now? And who comes up with the OAS list? Ex. TiQuan Forbes is the OAS at 3rd base, yet the 3rd overall 3b prospect by Future Sox.
  9. Where's Curbelo going to play...3rd?? Blackman and Rivera are locked in up the middle!
  10. QUOTE (GenericUserName @ Apr 14, 2018 -> 11:53 AM) Yeah, hopefully with time he becomes playable at third. I wouldn't mind trying him in left like we are with Delmonico. 8 errors in 12 games last season at 3b in GF. Lots of work to do there.
  11. Add TiQuan Forbes, Mitch Roman and Zach Remillard to the infield...with Evan Skoug catching Good lineup
  12. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 1, 2018 -> 09:21 AM) Yeah, Winston Salem should be pretty loaded. I’m predicting something like this: 1B: Sheets 2B: ? SS: Yrizarri 3B: ? LF: Rutherford CF: Basabe RF: Call DH: Adolfo #1: Dunning #2: Cease #3: Flores #4: Pinto #5: Martinez Robert will be up at some point in the not too distant future as well. Add TiQuan Forbes, Mitch Roman and Zach Remillard to the infield...with Evan Skoug catching Good lineup
  13. Will there be a "loaded up" MILB team this year? Seems like last season's Kanny squad may have been! WS perhaps??
