    And that's just our GM.

Don't forget about our owner. He was reminiscing about David Eckstein when he spoke during the Getz press conference. He loves shitty players like that.

The 2021 White Sox won 93 games with Robert missing 94 games, Eloy missing 107, and TA missing 39.

Bob Nightingale said that TLR deserved a plaque for managing that team to 93 wins. He may not be wrong.

He took a team that was probably a 75 win team talent wise last year and led them to a 100 loss season. This year it's a 60 win team and he's leading them towards a 40 win season. At this point it's pretty clear that he's a big reason for why this team sucks so historically bad.

Nothing about this roster is a 60 win team. That's such a massive stretch. The talent is horrendous. Grifol isn't costing them 20 wins, lol.

Jose Abreu is 4-for-62 with one RBI. Must be frustrating for Jose. U think if this keeps up he'll hang 'em up? Of course he's always started slowly but yikes 4-for-62 is pretty Darin Erstad-ish. (forgive me for starting a new thread but with the Sox 3-21 I think you can forgive me. Not like there's much to discuss).

He lied about his age and/or stopped taking steroids

I have watched him a lot since he was drafted.  Just a good baseball player. Balanced swing from both sides. Probably better with a little more juice as a lefty.  Controls the zone pretty well.  Above average speed, but not a burner like Ellis.  Can put a charge into the ball for a skinnier guy. His second double tonight was crushed. Good defender in both the infield and the outfield.  Has played 7 positions as a pro.  OK at short and centerfield. Better at 2b, 3b, and the corners.  Was the MVP of the mid-major Colonial Athletic league where he played 2b. His Dad was a prominent player for Clemson back in the day.

So you're saying we found Ben Zobrist 2.0?

Since it seems to be leaning this way (about his son) - what should we expect out of him as an owner?

Look at the Bulls. The VP/GM duo is an absolute disaster. Any normal organization would have fired them by now, but they still have a job. It's basically the same old Reinsdorf BS.

Im not saying these are great examples, but they immediately come to mind :

Dead - Jermaine Dye. Which was usually followed with references to the Altered Beast video game intro “Rise from your grave.”

    Choke Crede

    Jizz Can - Luis Vizcaino

    Botch - Billy Koch

Jermaine Dead is what I was thinking of. Classic.

If you could package Robert, a starting pitcher, and a bullpen arm to a contender in July, it could potentially bring a great haul. You always have to see what teams are willing to give up.

Robert would require an unprecedented return, assuming his injury didn't significantly diminish his value.

Outscored 27 to 5 in the series. Competitive team, am I right Getz?

And at this point, it feels like Benintendi WANTS to be DFA, so he can get paid and go sit at home. He certainly doesn't look like a guy who wants to turn a franchise around, for sure. 367 OPS, GMAFB, organization is getting EVERYTHING it deserves, with the clown show in charge.

Vaughn with a robust 489 OPS.

An absolute can't miss prospect with the bat.
