Colson had 11 HRs across 96 games in A-AA as a 20 year old (mostly in A and A+). Bonemer had 37 homeruns in 132 games across A+-AA. He's hitting for WAY more power. .154 ISO vs a .300 ISO.

Don't be hating. He was only 20 years old in AA. 25% SO rate isn't that bad with his power.

In 7 AFL games Bonemer has 3 doubles, 1 triple and 1 homerun.

TA is way more high profile than Kopech. Kopech is a bust and nobody gives a s%*# about him or thinks highly of him. TA was a star and leader of one of the most disappointing teams in White Sox history. His downfall coincided with the downfall of that team. Totally different scenarios.

I think what hurts TA most is he was the leader of a team which should have been a contender but ended up being a colossal disappointment. He also completely fell off at this time. Then he got KOed... Nobody looks back on that period in a positive light. He is one of the faces of it.

Wherever this kid goes, he hits, and he hits HARD. He's got 3 doubles and a triple in 22 ABs at AFL. 1.007 OPS. Had a 140 wRC+ in AA as a 20 year old. 37 HR in 132 games. This guy is going to be an absolute star. He's got 40 HR potential. The only question is where will he play. He's faster than expected and is playing CF in the AFL. I believe his home to 1st time he got clocked at recently would put him at 55-60 grade speed. Would be awesome if he could play a good CF. I'm guessing we see him at 3rd or in the corner. With his speed and arm he's got potential to be a plus fielder at the corner.

Chicago is a world class city. It's the fucking best. The mixture of nightlife/entertain options, food, public transportation, architecture, great neighborhoods, etc. it's tough to compete with New York, but Chicago is wayyy more affordable. Chicago is the best. Being on a big freshwater lake and having basically no natural disasters puts it in a good place going forward. I think this is a place you'll see a lot of people moving to in the future. Now, if we can figure out the pension situation without jacking up taxes even more... That's the big problem.
