So well said. I was going to make a thread about Getz deserving kudos for this, be you summarized it really well. This organization couldn't draft or develop hitters AT ALL. The middle infield was always a hole aside from Tim Anderson. I love the players they've been drafting and developing. There's some guys with huge OBP potential. That's something this organization has sorely missed. Yeah, we definitely need guys with more power potential. But I like that the Sox have in the minors as far as infield prospects go.

His ability to get on base is no joke. The Chairman of the Board (Antonacci) has real potential from what I've read. Kudos to Getz for building middle of the infield depth in our minors.

To be fair, I think it was that one guy who was an obvious troll. Maybe I missed others, but i saw that one new troll claim it. You can't let one single troll get to you. People could have treated him better, but the same can be said for him. The holier-than-thou attitude was off-putting.

This is depressing yet leaves me slightly optimistic at the same time. Imagine having an owner that would spend big money on the team. It'd take one off-season to potentially become an AL central contender. Justin Ishbia would be the 5th richest owner. I'm not sure if his brother will be involved at all. If they'll both be owners like they are with the suns, their collective net worth would be close to Steve Cohen's. The Sox could go fucking wild.

He could easily go back to being s%*# and flame out. Probably more likely. He's over 30 and on a hot streak. Personally I'd sign and be set for life if it was me.

Only would be worth it if he miraculously keeps it up and is signed to a friendly deal. Then he'd being back even more, but it's risky and improbable. In Getz I trust.

2.5 bWAR in only 8 games pitched (before tonight's game). Dude has been unbelievable. I wonder if we can get anything good for him, or if Getz is going to get bent over and reamed like the Fedde-Kopech trade.
