  1. 1. It's the offseason! So let's have some fun and talk about past eras of White Sox baseball! Who was your favorite player of the Hahn rebuild era? You can base this purely off of on the field production, or feel free to include their personality and off the field persona as well!

Giolito and it's probably not even close. Don't even know who my second would be. Abreu, I guess. But I thought people overrated his "leadership" that, to me, didn't even exist.

I don’t want think about any of these people ever again. Cease can come back if he can give us 32 starts.

Do you like to think about Leury?

Liam Hendricks seems like a damn good guy...and fun! And fearless! Not perfect on the mound but balled out! Still can't figure out why guys like Kelly and Graverman didn't like him? If those rumors are true?

I’m kinda putting the post-Paul Konerko career to 2025 in a box, and moving on.

2026 is a nice start to a new era.

Sorry, was walking to my phone to vote but I pulled my hamstring off the bone

Kopech. That guy was a man's man. That guy was ALL MAN. This man was strong and tough. And I refuse to say it, but when he took showers with the other pros, they came out of there, they said, "Oh my God, that's unbelievable."

Rodon was my guy. Personally met him a couple of times, also played video games with his cousin quite a bit a few years ago. Great dude. His wife is a delight as well.

Liam.

If Leury wasn't overused, and wrongly used, he could have been truly legendary. He should have been the Grandville Waiters of the Sox.

Abreu for production alone as top choice. It’s not close

IIRC they hated how honest and available he was with the media

Still pisses me off that they never offered him the QO but picked up Kimbrel's option after the 2021 season.

Good Eloy was so much fun

Joe Kelly always thought he was by far the smartest guy in the room...and had some wonderfully entertaining moments in his career...but by the end he seemed to phone it in! Liam H was a guy I would want on my team!

I got to interview Abreu for a school project and he was the chillest dude.

Jose Abreu was a stud.

Honestly it is Abreu, and then anyone else.

By a landslide

Abreu, the rest of them were a bunch of losers.

There is no truth to the rumor that @ron883 voted for Jose Abreu twice in honor of his Chicago roots.

It was three times.

I often wondered what it would be like of they didn't suffer from injuries.

No love for Mr. 3000? /s

Agree, what a contrast with the 2026 White Sox and that sorry cast of characters.

Luis Robert

Fernando Tatis, Jr.

2021 Carlos Rodon
