Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
Is he worse than Schwarber in the OF?
-
Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
I know hes not a great defender but Castellanos is only 27. Do you expect him to be a DH before hes 30?
-
Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
I get why you think that but they are. Targeting and signing are a different story though.

Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
Not that hes the greatest source. Also Cubs' 2020 luxury tax payroll to be $219.8 million — quite a bit over the $208 million luxury tax. And that's not even taking into account any offseason moves via trade or free agency.

Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
Thought the Cubs had no money to sign any free agents? They are right against the cap.

Dallas Keuchel (discussion)...come on down!
No problem. Theres just alot of speculation/bad sources out there. This Ozuna stuff is nuts.

Dallas Keuchel (discussion)...come on down!
Where does RaBBit or other insiders say that Cease and or Kopech are on the trading block?
-
Dallas Keuchel (discussion)...come on down!
Cease isn't going anywhere, neither is Kopech. Waste of time to even speculate. Both have Ace potential.

Successful Plan B; What’s Next?
There should probably be a Dallas thread started.

Sox in on Marcell Ozuna? I mean, maybe. Or not.
Whats the opposite of eyeballs on this?? Bad sauces??

Angels sign Rendon - 7yrs 245
Better get a huge return if trading Moncada or TA. Jimenez is untouchable. Giolito would be a great sell high guy but we desperately need pitching.

Angels sign Rendon - 7yrs 245
But just because Yoan was bad at second doesn't mean he can't improve. He has the tools to be an average to above average 2nd baseman. I'd rather have Madrigal there. So no one is talking about moving Madrigal to ss and TA to RF??
-
Angels sign Rendon - 7yrs 245
Realistically Rendon will probably get a contract closer to $250 mil range right?
-
Angels sign Rendon - 7yrs 245
I agree this is a far fetched idea. And this only works if Moncada or TA are on board moving to RF. I really don't want to trade Madrigal as that gives the Sox the financial flexibility to offer the large deal. Currently Dream Status

Angels sign Rendon - 7yrs 245
Rendon is as consistent of a hitter as there is. For a $200 + mil contract he is pretty low risk compared to others when you look at his #s. He might be a bargain compared to the next set of stars coming to FA. Betts, Bryant & Judge in the next 3 years will probably all be close or over $300 mil contracts.

Would love McNeil but that would probably involve us picking up a bad contract like Cano or Cespedes.

Angels sign Rendon - 7yrs 245
I'm with you on this one. Not likely but the most likely of the top 3.

Zack Wheeler: To the Phils (5yr 118); Sox had made BIGGER offer
You are probably right. Not a good chance of signing a top tier free agent. Hahn has been lecturing us about breaking the norm though.

Zack Wheeler: To the Phils (5yr 118); Sox had made BIGGER offer
Stone has been wrong alot. Including on Wheeler
