  1. Good to know the sky is falling again.
  2. They want to work Moncada at 3rd. They've been talking about that for months. Someone has to play 2nd. Reeeeeeeeeeeelax.
  3. There it is. Manny Machado is not in camp. Changing your plans assuming he will be would be really dumb. This doesn't mean anything other than Manny is not currently on the White Sox.
  4. He's getting the work in now while he still can. ?
  5. Indicative of nothing.
  6. Did we not see that coming? His lashout wasn't some altruistic crusade, he was trying to control the narrative himself.
  7. It's obviously not. But the guy couldn't hit the ball with any kind of authority for two months. Now, there are several factors that may or may not have led to that, but he has to show that it was the wrist and fatigue, and not just the fact that he can't hit the ball hard. I'm not giving up on the guy, but adjusting the current big league roster for a guy that is still pretty damn far away is silly. Especially when it's screwing around with a guy that was way more highly regarded than madrigal will ever be.
  8. I don't disagree, I'm just saying let's cool the jets on moving Moncada for Madrigal until he proves he's a professional hitter.
  9. If he continues to hit balls into the ground as much as he has, a .400 OBP isn't going to be possible. Also, that would be an OPS > than .702..
  10. He had a .702 OPS in WS. That is not going to cut if it does not significantly increase this year.
  11. That's all fair, but let's wait and see.
  12. Can we please, please, please let Madrigal show us he can slug better than.350 in A ball before we starting putting his name in the line up in sharpie?
  13. Great, now you have 3 players playing out of position.
  14. No it has not. Yoan is not getting moved just.... because.
  15. There's nothing to take from this. They want Moncada to be flexible. That doesn't mean anything for either Machado or Madrigal specifically. Because moving people around for Madrigal when he just was meh in A+ would be really dumb. Yoan will still be the everyday 2B with maybe the occasional game at 3rd
  16. If there isn't a singing today, I will have to assume yesterday was machado about nothing
  17. There's been something worth discussing?
  18. His friends were to cut down on the 'We Suck' Tax. Unfortunatley, the market has played such that there shouldn't be a We Suck Tax.
  19. Where have I heard that before?
  20. There’s no reason to not take these reports at their face, but a team deciding to pay full price in February is really bizarre
  21. Paying 20 million let’s say 1 mil a year for 20 years or something dumb like that. The Bobby Bonilla deal. Sox have a million deferred to peavy this year. Konerko next.
  22. I’d rather live in a world where manny might play for the Sox than one where he plays for the fucking Padres.
  23. If they screw this up, I wish I had season tickets I could emphatically drop.
  24. Hasn’t it been established Lozano is far from ethical?
  25. Right, if they’re not prepared to beat 8/ let’s call it 260, they weren’t willing to do what it took in the first place. Anything short of a jaw dropping deal I will be furious
