You can get away with that against horseshit pitching and swinging a metal bat but big league pitchers would absolutely destroy him on the outer half of the plate. At least they know they have to fix his swing which is interesting because they also thought they had to fix Bradfields swing but Bradfield is twice the athlete Gonzalez is so why take Gonzalez over Bradfield. Because Gonzalez fills a need. That's an awful way to draft.

I just can't get over what Washington's offense is going to look like in a couple years. They already have Keibert Ruiz (24) and CJ Abrams (22) established in the big leagues and they added Dylan Crews (21) and Yohandy Morales (21) to James Wood (20), Brady House (20), Elijah Green (19) and Robert Hassell (21). Good lord. I would expect them to add plenty of pitching the next couple of days. This team is going to come on fast.
