QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 02:50 PM) Somebody in the Sox organization must suffer for this as I have suffered. After the game, the streets shall flow with blood. Somebody must pay.

QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 02:47 PM) Another 0-3 for Thome against a lefty....I don't care what the stats say, he's been awful since he came back from injury. Isn't that what his stats say?

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 02:33 PM) What a pick by Hill at the plate. Definitely. Looked like he just closed his eyes and it found his glove. Nice 1-2 pitch, Jose.

QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 02:26 PM) If everything is so impossible for this team, then why do we ever show up? Than what would everyone here have to complain about? Oh boy, Mariotti bashing time.

QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 01:59 PM) What the f*** did I just see. Jim Thome sliding feet first into first base. Pretty humorous.

Run through the bag. What a horrible slide attempt. Look like he slide into foul territory rather than at the base.

QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 01:57 PM) Good thing we have him batting 2nd. I hate Uribe but would rather see him batting 2nd than Gonzalez.

Rod Beck
Saw the graphic during the game but had TV on mute. Nothing on ESPN. Remember seeing a piece on SportsCenter about him living in his trailer near the AAA Iowa field and hanging with fans.

Had the game on mute, did they say how Rod Beck died?

Official "Squared Circle" Thread
QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 02:31 AM) Here's a little quality Aries to wet your whistle to his ROH style. Aries vs CM Punk (Death Before Dishonor III) http://www.dailymotion.com/relevance/searc...ries-vs-cm-punk I could see how different he is in ROH than TNA. The thing with TNA is they have totally ignored the X Division which is what brought a lot of fans in and that is the style that it seems Aries would wrestle. I never saw Samoa Joe in ROH but it seems their matches are faster paced for smaller guys and unless you work with another guy who can do that style, it is hard for those guys to move on to TNA or the E. If ROH got big and became national, that would be good for the business. I do like the mentality towards the business they have and wish it was more like that in the other promotions.

Red Sox Interested in Buehrle?
QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 10:23 AM) Buehrle on the Red Sox would make me vomit. Buehrle on any other team would make me vomit. Just the business.
