  1. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Aug 9, 2005 -> 08:18 PM) Ok, if Dustin is hurt I apologize. But if he isn't htis is f***in dumb, real f***in dumb. Exactly. Politte did his job in the 8th. No need to extend him, but I kind of understand what Ozzie was thinking.
  2. It is sickening to watch Crede go up there in a crucial situation and have NO plan. See ball, hit ball. Not waiting for a spot. If anyone pitches him in, they should be kicked out of the league.
  3. Sheff had him timed. Jose should stay in the stretch longer next time a guy is on 1st. Make the batter get out.
  4. Sit down, b****-Rod!
  5. Doesn't DJ know about superstitions. He just said, "Jose has to be careful because before you know it, his control could be gone." That is like saying a guy has a no hitter when he has one in the 6th or 7th.
  6. Way to give away outs, guys. Had Chacon battling last inning, and now doing this.
  7. We got a bounce! Nice work, Jose!
  8. Sit down, Roid boy!
  9. Walk to Giambi would be ok with me.
  10. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 9, 2005 -> 06:06 PM) Why? Chacon sucks, we're better off with him in the game. Guess I'm more curious if they would actually toss him. He seems to be leaving pitches up now.
  11. QUOTE(knightni @ Aug 9, 2005 -> 06:05 PM) The White Sox need a better popup blocker. Ba dum, Ching!
  12. STep into the inside pitch, damn it! Get Chacon tossed!
  13. Gooch goes oppo!!! 1-0!
  14. Nice catch by a s***ty CF. Go figure.
  15. No high socks for Scotty tonight.
  16. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 9, 2005 -> 05:55 PM) MS paint. I wonder if that is on my computer. Wouldn't matter, I can't do anything more than basic stuff with Photoshop.
  17. Kalapse, do you use Photoshop for your sigs?
  18. There is a guy on the AOL board that says Crede is one of the best all around players in baseball.
  19. Hawk quick to jump on the umps. Kind of funny. Jose working quick and throwing strikes. I like it.
  20. QUOTE(tony72 @ Aug 9, 2005 -> 05:34 PM) we are not ahead 10 to 0 or behind 10 to 0 so Konerko will get any hits (homeruns)... I'm far from Konerko fan but his homers in the last two games vs. Seattle were big ones.
  21. QUOTE(GBlum27 @ Aug 9, 2005 -> 05:27 PM) Because this crew HATES us. I'm not even kidding it's really really obvious. Well, if Chacon loses his grip and accidently hits us, I expect him to be tossed than.
  22. How do you give both teams a warning on that? Gimme a break.
  23. Carl Everett (groin) said yesterday that he definitely won't be ready to play today. ''I wouldn't give it a date,'' Everett said. ''Basically, I'm just going to let it do what it does, and when it's ready, I'll be in there. I'm just listening to my body. If my body says I can go, I'll go. I just have a certain way I play, and I don't want to affect that.'' Aug. 9 - 9:40 am et Source: Chicago Sun-Times
  24. QUOTE(Fotop @ Aug 9, 2005 -> 12:09 AM) Yep, we certainly fear a "tough" schedule. All those top 25 teams sure are pushovers. We consistetly have one of the hardest schedules in the nation EVERY year. The big conference teams can't really say that (Nebraska, I'm looking in your general direction). I realize ND usually has Michigan, USC, and some others, but I'm talking Stanford, Navy, BYU, and Syracuse. SUrprised no Air Force to TRY and beat up on this season.
  25. Not surprised. I love Frank but no way you can pick up a $10 mil option on him. I bet we re-sign him to a new deal of some kind.
