I gave Manuel a chance and it turns out he played the cards right, I salute him, Buehrle and Sully.

Kenny Williams probably just phoned down to the bench to get Sully in, we know how KW's guys always seem to get more PT. Great example this year with Adkins.

To think I brought up yesterday that Sandy was a pretty decent bunter and said he never has a chance in hell to beat one out though.

I agree put Miles in the 8 hole in place of Valentin for 3 or 4 games and see what the guy can do.

It wasn't necessarily huge, rats are some really maingy(spelling) mothers.

Surprisingly enough I believe Sandy Alomar Jr. is a pretty good bunter, god knows he could never beat one out for a hit. But nonetheless in a situation where it calls for the runners to be moved over and say Olivo was up, I wouldn't hesistate to bring up Sandy to bunt.

Lets not forget that Borchard hit around .350 in the final month of the minor league season.
