Dude you seriously need to give it up. We are NOT getting Colon, what makes you think a team that does nothing to improve itself all offseason or nothing to improve itself almost ever will just wake up all of the sudden and go get Colon. Give it up, NO COLON TO THE SOX. It's like battered wives syndrome. I know that there is no way the KW is going to make a decent trade but I can't help hoping anyway.

This is way after you asked the question, but I had this same problem with people who used to live across the street from me who played thug rap blasting all day long and I could hear it in my house even with the tv on. (And I love rap, but as you say, they were playing the s*** of the s***.) I put my speakers in my windows and on my porch and played, full blast, opera (helps that I love opera and have some cds) every time they played their thug rap. They came outside and looked a me, I looked at them, they said, "oh, maybe we are playing our music too loud" And the problem was solved forever. That's because they weren't real thugs. I'd have capped your ass.

I'm not necessarily talking about his performance, although from what I remember it was more like getting by than owning. He looked scared and nervous, you could see it in his eyes and in the way he carried himself. I remember after one inning he almost tripped into the dugout. Anyway I'm not trying to say the kid isn't any good, I think he's going to be great. I just don't think it was the right time to call him up in terms of development. He should have been in the minors.

It's a good thing they put him back down because he looked like he was about to crap his pants the couple of times he pitched when he was up. Hopefully he'll be over that the next time he is up.
