Plus "rich" people don't just leave their money sitting in banks. They invest it to try and grow their money. Investment in business ventures usually leads to more jobs, which = growing the economy. Not to mention that mm is making the false assumption that no one buys anything bigger or more expensive than a toaster with their money. Limiting the amount of money a person is allowed to make limits investment which stunts job growth and taken to the mm extreme would lead to job losses = shrinking economy.

Wait until you graduate and start making middle class money and paying middle class taxes and you'll know why. Right, I know the middle class is over-taxed... That's why I believe in taxing the rich the hardest because they have the most expendable income. Such a large disparity between the wealthy and the poor is not healthy for any economy (see America in the late 1920s). I don't quite understand your point. I know that I'll probably be middle class for my whole life and I understand that I will be taxed to death because of it. That's why I kick and scream for tax reform. The middle and lower class (AKA... the majority) need to take back the political power from the wealthy. Right now, you and I live in a dollar dictatorship... If you got money, you got power. Do unto others as you don't want done to you? In one post you say you understand incentive and then you talk about removing the incentive to be successful. You can't put aside the fact that punishing the most successful will weigh down the economy and hurt everyone. Even if you do, nobody who understands how politics and power work believe that it would ever stop at the wealthy. Power always seeks more power. Someone will always want to demonize someone else for their own gain. Once you're done with the wealthy I have no doubt who would be next.

I thought UHF was pretty funny. Three Amigos was pretty funny, it just falls short of that top tier comedy IMO. Army of Darkness was pretty funny but there are plenty of horror movies that are funnier on accident. Ever see the remake of Night of the Living Dead? Or how about Night of the Comet?

If he can't get a contract somewhere else worth more than 40 mil he won't leave, deferred or not. Maybe on a cold day in hell. The only question is whether or not he will get traded. And even then the other team would have to pick up the 40 mil total tab for Frank or JR & KW would have to agree to pick up part of the tab. Again, I'm not holding my breath.

I don't know why I continue to answer these, I don't want to hold myself out to be a moral compass or anything like that. I am not anywhere close to perfect. I've been married twice (*gasp* divorced?) and I had sex, even lived with, both women before we were married. I wish I had done some things differently but all in all I don't regret how I handled things (at least with the current wife) and I don't apologize for them. Ultimately you aren't accountable to me so you should seek answers elsewhere, where it matters. Just FYI, I'm not answering any more of these types of posts. I'm not going to preach here any more than I already have. I can sympathize with almost all of the opinions expressed, I have held them myself at one point or another in my life. It sucks because I think most of what I consider to be misunderstanding is the result of bad church teaching or bad church experiences. I know that most people here don't want to hear my opinions on religion so let's not make it a topic on a personal level.

I don't come here to discuss these topics, if I wanted to argue with people about religion I'd go to the POD boards or something. If people continue to want to make this a topic of discussion on these boards though ... If you think the bible is nothing but a long list of things you can't do, then you are misreading it or taking it out of context from the whole. The story of the new testament is the story of how God set us free from those rules and how he loves us regardless of how we have sinned. You might think the bible is just book filled with outdated stories designed as guidelines on how to live. If so you have taken it out of it's originally conceived context. Taken in whole it is a promise from a living God to work in our lives to make them better. Some of you may hate my interpretation of what the bible is, but I am not going to argue with you over it. It doesn't matter if you are a moralist rules person who thinks the description in the first paragraph is true or an atheist/agnostic who thinks the second description is true. Like I said, that's not what I come here for. I think your opinion on religion sucks and you think my opinion on religion sucks, now lets talk about something else.
