Goodwin shouldn’t even be on the team and he definitely is not a center fielder! Is anyone besides me getting tired of watching Anderson stand st the plate spit and play with himself and then hit a bad pitch and jog half hearted down the line. If this jackass is the face of our franchise then we are in real trouble. At least Abreau hustles and sets a decent example. It makes me sick to think we let 3 all stars go to keep Anderson who is an absolute ass hole.

It's surprising how fast the Chicago media gets on LaRusso for some mistakes. When you make a decision you are either right or wrong. Right now the weakness on this team is not the fault of the Mgr. but the poor handling of depth by the front office. Maybe Tony could have pushed a little harder in Spring training and the with conditioning the injuries might be slightly diminished. Putting our original LF in was an error because we caved to him wanting to play in the field but when he is in he is just an accident waiting to happen. Hope we are training Mercedes to play out there. We need his bat every day especially now with the loss of Robert. Back to the Media, maybe in going on the attack they are hoping we will not remember the pressure they were putting on the Bears to do everything possible to grab Watson ( can't miss) including giving away the team. Not sure what Larusco is doing but his fiddling could cost us another win today. We have a man on third with one out but we have Garcia at bat instead of Nick and weak hitting Garcia has to do is put the ball in play but he wiffs along with Mr. Wonderful. No Robert in the line up so he pulls Mercedes also. I'm hoping he fiddles himself out of the lineup for a while so we can win some games. I hope he doesn't waist a very good pitching performance by Rodon. As the worst team in baseball the Tigers take a lead on us. Can we get rid of Lambrusco, Williams and the pitching coach and bring back our old pitching coach?

I still think Williams trading the best shortstop in baseball for Shields should have gotten him fired. That has to be worse than signing Grandal who seems to show us every game why he doesn't want to be here. Two spring trainings in a row with very little effort and then a slow start to the season which is a natural progression. His lack of effort tells all there is to tell. Quoting someone who said he was good doesn't make him good. When in a slump some max effort would help.

It looks to me like McCann calls a better game. There are an awful lot of times this year when our pitchers hit the target yaz sets and they are hit really hard. He must not be doing his home work nor does he seem to be as good a team guy. He bunted a couple games ago and was successful, maybe with men on base he should bunt more often rather than hit into a shift and then semi walk to first.

If my counts are right Tony L at this point is costing us a lot more than we are gaining. It was so obvious last night that our starting pitcher didn’t have his good stuff and was out of gas but we left him in with a pretense of giving him a chance to win the game but what we really did was by not getting him out on time not only did he lose the game but so did the team. Then we brought in an good bullpen piece to shut Detroit down only to pull him immediately and put in a guy who is struggling with a + 10 ERA. When do we tell our defensively weak catcher that if he keeps hitting into the shift he will not hit .220 for the season. We got rid of the wrong catcher. Where is McCann? Just like our trade to San Diego to protect Anderson ( who still can’t field and now isn’t even hustling down the line) in order to get Shields who was a bum. Then we get a DH last year who can’t hit so we can keep the Yerminator off of the roster despite Robert and others telling everyone that YM is the best hitter they have seen and after he hits well in Arizona. Our owner did the right thing not allowing Williams and his Stooge to hire a Mgr but he might have done Tony an injustice. Can Tony L possibly manage himself out of the H.O.F. this year?
