6/18, Sox @ Yankees, 6:05 PM, Avoid the Sweep
This game is there for the taking for us. Wouldn't be a disaster if we lost but this would be a huge win

At what point do we start to believe?
They are notorious for doing it though. They did it against us in 2021 and shelled Hendriks.

At what point do we start to believe?
They are 1-8 against the Phils, yanks, and Brewers. 13-15 against the rest of the league on the road.

The negativity on this thread blows my mind

Having been at the game, I can say that on another night, it could have easily been 7-3 White Sox

This team just took 5 of 6 from the two best teams in baseball. Nobody is saying their time to win a World Series but whom outside the Yankees and Rays our better then us in the AL?

Going tomorrow as well. Hopefully a better outcome. Hope we give the Tartan army something to cheer about tomorrow

Btw, those football chants are the Scottish fans. Don't know if they are audible on TV.

At the beginning of this stretch, we'd have all bitten your hand off for that. Ps: I'm at the game tonight. The Tartan army are a hoot tonight.

This is the same staff that took two of three from the dodgers. It is what it is. I hope they take their learnings from the series. There is no reason to give up on this team

Not able to watch as mlb blacked it out in nyc. Is Vargas hurt? Saw he had a pinch hitter.

This will happen over a 162 game season.

At what point do we start to believe?
Yeah. Thought we'd go 3-3 in these two series. I believe as far as the regular season goes. The key for them in the postseason is getting some sort of home field advantage, even if it's only two games. When rocking, Comiskey is one of the best atmospheres in all of baseball. It's a truly frightening place for opposition players to go, and they have said as much. The blackout game is as close as I've seen to seeing a premier league atmosphere transposed in the United States. I think on an October night, it's reminiscent of Goodison Park.

It's clear Getz learned from the failings of the previous regime. He's recruited some of the best minds from the best run organizations in baseball. You can see the difference in philosophy, especially hitting, from the minors up through the big leagues.

and that's a series taking held on to our butts WHITE SOX WINNER
Actually think Dominguez can function in that. Both he and Thornton don't have the mentality to close.

Still think Dominguez is a better set up man for Taylor

I'm pretty sure, the last year with Menechino, we lead the league in batting average. Which just goes to show you how backwards it was.
