I am agreeing with Brando on this...Wow, what a miracle... Maggs is worth a similar value to Anderson...This guy can flat out hit, he led his team to a ring and he's a former all-star game MVP...To say Maggs is worth more than Anderson is not right, I look at this guy as a superstar...he's just playing under the radar out in Anaheim. If he was a Yankee or hell a Cub for that matter, he'd be known as one of the 5 best players in the game.

I think he could make history for being the first person banned from Soxtalk for behavior at a Soxfest gathering... When is he due back anyhow? Isn't it later this month?

I was at one of the Detroit series last year where Gary Knotts threw a gem ( ) and beat us like 2-1 or 1-0. After that one I went out to the parking lot and did one of these: :puke Maybe the lowest point of my season last year as a Sox fan... Of course if you dont count when they traded D'Angelo, that was the worst...

So if Rowand is still hitting around or below .260 in a month and Reed still hitting above .350 in AAA, do we still keep Reed in the minors?

Biggest surprise for me has been Neal Cotts and the confidence he's had thus far after the rough callup last year in the pennant race. He's been a pleasant surprise as I thought he'd have a tough time starting the season with the big club, but he's proved otherwise. The other surprise I'd mention would be the surprisingly stellar play of Willie Harris whom I boldly told Steff at Soxfest would be in the minor leagues by May 1st...Looks like I was off on that one, but I'm glad that Willie has played well. Never doubted his effort, I just didn't think he could consistently contribute at the ML Level. So far this year, he has, so let's hope he can keep that up.

I would agree, but if Danny Wright doesn't get it together soon, I think Cotts gets a spot in the rotation with either Wright or Adkins being the casualty being sent down to AAA if indeed we keep Wunsch.
