Yea, tough third goal there. We also have to hit on some of these draft picks, Reichel and Korchinski demoted to the Rock is tough, Luvshonov hasn't been good tonight himself. I get it these guys are really young so lets see how it goes. Want to see the boys respond to that Florida goal with some tenacity. Winning this game is secondary importance, HOW they play is the thing I want to see.

Hawks have hung strong since that first period onslaught. Just not enough deep end skill here. Especially on offense. I don't know the stats, but faceoffs are pretty bad, so Hawks beginning most possessions chasing. Still, been a lot more fun to watch over the last period and a half.

This was a really bad challenge. Not as bad as the John Fox challenge, but terrible. Ben Johnson gets a D+/C- for his first game.

I felt the team got really conservative with that lead. Heck he went for a 4th and short in the game. Didn't make it, but take a shot. Ben Johnson doing Wannstedt V 2.0. Wanny was an innovative play caller and became head coach and morphed into Woody Hayes. The defense is merely average and is without a couple good players. The oline struggled to open holes, Williams was OK, I didn't think he was bad, but he does miss reads and throws. But he also makes some really great plays. Gotta give him a long leash. But yea, old school Bears fans have to have QB PTSD as the Bears have not had a legit QB since Luckman, though for one year Jim Mac was great. After that Erik Kramer was probably our best. Haha. Officiating was brutal tonight. Though can't blame them for the 1st half false starts. Kicker missed a big kick. He has to make kicks. It's week 1, Vikings won 14 games last year, they are no pushover. Take a breath and get after it next week.

Outman and Bruns is laughable. Outman sucks and Bruns, while having a great arm, will never materialize into a starting pitcher. Dodgers tried to hone in his command and while it has improved some, just not enough to project him to anything more than a reliever at this point. So Dodgers are gonna send out two failed prospects? Robert needs to start hitting to drive up his value, but this is a dumbass trade.
