  1. Take the piece of crap out.
  2. VAZ will come start this inning and it will be a huge mistake.
  3. Keep Pablo, he brings more energy and seems to be more liked in the clubhouse. Despite his 0 power, we are not a team starved of power, what we are missing is guys who can hit, hit the opposite field, bunt and run. Ozuna does that better than Uribe. Pablo plays third, SS and second fine, not great, but not horrible. Uribe is just as likely to make an error because of his tendency to be lazy in the field.
  4. Kind OT, but I really miss Silvy and Carmen on the radio together. Not sure why I just about it, probably caused I see Silvy when I play softball on Mondays. But that was BY FAR my favorite show. Perfect balance of personality, team-likes, and everything.
  5. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jun 24, 2008 -> 04:38 AM) Clayton Richard has completely rocketed up the pitching prospect list for the Sox. Damn you, Egbert. That was concentrating on one sport wil do. I was looking at some old football rankings on Rivals.com and he was rated the 4th best pro-style QB in the country, ahead of Brady Quinn, I believe.
  6. http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...noraaa_chraaa_1 Charlotte Won 8-1 Richard with the win, 6 inning, 5 hits, 1 ER, no walks and no Ks/ Cook, Richar, Castillo, Hall and Cortez 2 hits apiece. B-Ham OFF Winston-Salem OFF http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...wvaafx_kanafx_1 Kannapolis Lost 8-2 Lucas Harrell started and not good: 2.2 inn, 4 hits, 4 ER, 3 BBs and 0 Ks. Fleisher and Mollenhauer 2 hits apiece. http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...kptrok_brirok_1 Bristol Shut-Out 1-0 Silverio 0-4, 2 Ks. Greg Infante, 20 year old from Caracas, Venezuela: 6 inn, 5 hits, 1 run (unearned), 2 BBs and 6 Ks. http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...helrok_grfrok_1 Great Falls in action
  7. Watching the Olympic gymnatic trials I taped. man those girls are ridiculous. How they can flip like that and land on their feet amazes me.
  8. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jun 22, 2008 -> 08:09 PM) If the Cubs get Sabathia, nobody will stop them until maybe the Red Sox, and even they couldn't if NL gets home-field. Now, if the Phils get Sabathia, the Cubs will go down to them in the NLCS in 4. Cubs got no one to trade for him. They got big hype prospect who have proven nothing. He ain't going to the Cubs unless they give up Vitters + more and they ain't giving up Vitters who is having issues in the minors.
  9. I seriously can't wait till the Cubs roll over and die in the playoffs so I can beat Cubs fans down.
  10. My mental health would be so much better if baseball didn't exist.
  11. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 22, 2008 -> 08:52 PM) It amazes me after all the games against him, we still haven't pegged Aramis. If we did, I would love the Mariotti article about the Sox being goones.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 22, 2008 -> 08:50 PM) Twins are superior? QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jun 22, 2008 -> 08:50 PM) Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but are you saying the Twins are far superior to the Sox? Look at my edit. The way I described again, you would have to know that I know the Sox are better. Like every year we have more talent and stink it up to them,
  13. After we lose tonight and are 41-34, just pretend that 10 games ago we were 31-34 and are in the midst of 10-game win streak. HAHA. PS the Twins have to be loving this, a Sox team once against pissing on their legs and far inferiorTwins team creeping up right on their tails waiting to overtake them.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 22, 2008 -> 08:46 PM) At least the draft on Thursday will preoccupy things. Will it? Maybe a little, but it will be back to previewing another Cubby demolitioning.
  15. Next time A-Ram is up. Throw at his wrist and break it, please.
  16. I am remembering every frickin text I get from Cubs fans right now and can't wait till they blow it in the playoffs to give it back times two.
  17. I will not be able to listen any sports radio until after next weekend's series. Thanks White Sux. It will be a cuppy love affair for the entire week. God please don't let this team and their obnoxious fans win a WS.
  18. http://www.sportsjournalists.com/forum/ind...p?topic=57713.0 Heres a thread about the feud.
  19. Wise in CF everday from now on.
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 22, 2008 -> 08:28 PM) Who cares how you classify it, we're on the verge of losing our 9th straight road game. This team lives and dies by the home run, and it's always more difficult to hit homers on the road. And we get a horrible hitter's park for three games this week. Stink is gonna continue, no doubt.
  21. I wish I didn't care this much.
  22. It's like watching a AAA team vs. a major league team.
  23. Can we please score a frickin run and get a little momentum. Can we please stack some hits, dempster isn't gonna give up many HRs?
