It seems logical to me. That whole we're not paying the salary doesn't make a lot of sense.

If it is true the Sox got ripped off. Take all the money for a bad pitcher and give something up.

I'm just curious why they wouldn't let Schultz pitch one more inning. The pitch count wasn't that high. Very positive outing .

Yes those two situations. They still don't have any runs. Batted ball luck feels like it usually works out over the course of a season. The Sox have ten strikeouts. The rays only 4. It's probably a higher probability to get hits if you make more contact. Keep it close and it's obvious not over.

So unlucky the Sox struck out 10 times. It's encouraging with Schultz outing so far.

Would be nice if the offense could break through.

That's if this is true. Also they're not always right. All that said. If it happens I won't lose any sleep over the trade. All the best prospects would still be intact.

I'm fine with filling the bullpen with in house pitching. McDougall ,Hagan Smith etc .

There's plenty of player's in this years draft to replace his value. I'm not concerned one bit about trading him. I'm probably overrating Boston Smith. Something about him I don't want sell low.

Pereira and Perez feel like the same player honestly.
