  1. Minnestoa cant clinch if they got no legs...... ya know what I mean..... I think we should go Tony Soprano all over em.
  2. Eh, fans are fans..... atleast cub fans dont kill sox fans like Dodger fans do.
  3. Cubs maybe....... he's better than Gonzalez
  4. I lean twoards no.....lets not be the Blackhawks, sign everyone 5 years after their prime has passed. I would say Try and lure Miguel Tejada... but that aint gonna happen.
  5. For some reason, I think that Backman is going to be one of the next great managers... just not for the sox.
  6. J-Bull, Soxtalk's favorite south paw from the southern league..... wait Cotts is a lefty too.... Favorite South Paw reliever from the Southern League. Im just wondering where you see yourself next year? Contending for a pen spot in Chitown? Up in Charlotte, or spending another year with the Barons, tyring to get more into your reliever role. Thanks alot Jim, and I think I can speak for everyone when i say that were all in your corner and hope one day we can sit behind ya in the left field bleechers, and yell things at ya when ya warm up.
  7. Loaiza is a piece of s***? If he's a piece of s***, then what is...... Buehrle, Colon, Garland, Wright, Koch, Cotts, Schoenweis, and Porzio? Loaiza may have not pitched when we needed him in the last two series..... but if he doesn't get those early wins.... we wouldn't have even contended.
  8. Southern League Manager of the Year...... Wally is in the Southern League....... Uh-oh
  9. DBAHO AND 2K3..... lets shrink those Tuomo pics down a bit.
  10. New York is chicago multiplied by 3 in size... lots of stuff to do, and times square has to be the coolest place i've ever been to. But I think New York is a little sterile when it comes to that "at home" feeling you get when your here in chicago. TO be honest, even though NY has all the bells and whistles.... I'd say Chicago is a far better place to live... but if ur looking for a weekend to just go buck wild.. NY might have the advantage.
  11. Well, then again the law of averages also tells us that if you throw enough rocks at the moon that one will eventually hit it. sooooo take it with a grain of salt.
  12. Well, your probably right, I just think that like in most cases.... a team can get only SO hot. I mean for them to go like 4-5 and 5-4.... I wouldn't call it impossible. The Law of averages will tell you they are due for some losses.
  13. Bartolo and Vlad..... sounds like a Yankee off-season to me!
  14. Should be a very interesting off-season to say the least..... Frank could very well be playing his final games in the Silver and Black.....
  15. Frank really wanted to win this year, and I think that he's realized that it's a mere pipedream now, so he's trying to rationalize why they lost.
  16. I just think that the law's of nature are somehow more powerful than the tiger's ability to lose.
  17. Vlad should be trying on his pinstripes right now, and picking one of the Yankee's 30 remaining non-retired numbers..... cuz I'd bet he's in NY next year.
  18. I have a weird feeling that the twins are gonna go .500 over their last stretch of games.
  19. Well, I think that the arguement is that the Cards are just doing this out of spite for the cubs, and the Pirates Mets and Reds, are just trying to move their team in the right direction my cutting off the dead weight. I think there is a slight difference. Although I've heard that Morris and other Cards hate the cubs soo much that their going to tank it, because they'd rather see the stros in playoffs than the Cubs (sounds bogus to me,) but if thats true... Larussa's has got to be ashamed of his players.
  20. 3 runs of Santana by the Tigers is quite a feat.
  21. Jon's 23, and wasnt the starter in the all-star game, and wasn't hyped all season like esty was. Im not giving Jon a pass on this, because he prolly pitched as bad or worse in his starts against Minny as well, I just was hoping for more from Loaiza in those two games, and he didnt produce. I think it's just a little frustration im venting out.
  22. IM not gonna detract from Esty's season, no denying how awesome he was, but in the two biggest games of the year, he threw a couple duds. Just my feelings!
