    Ok...

I just want to know why Hoiberg was out their during garbage time instead of Crawford.
  2. The one I just created for my new car. Haven't got it yet, but I think I'm getting it in like two weeks. Been working my ass off for it. Its my own Beatles greatest hits, but I like the White Album as well as Revolver although all of them are awesome.
  3. But remember that Valentine outpitched them two a whole lot in the entire playoff season. Plus, I don't even really know when this is dated to as it may of been done before the Arizona Fall League.
  4. I think what holds ring back is the fact he's a reliever, but then again that didn't hold Valentine back. I'd of had Malone in their because he was so damn good 2 years ago and last year he was still sharp, especially if you take away his control problems. Of course, Malone has a ton to learn and hopefully he will be healthy and 100% by the start of the season and for good.
  5. Lol I love it, Gary and Mike goin at it. :metal
  6. Mark, this is your greatest thread ever, i love it. A shrink who will just tell it like it is, lol. I see a new profession if you can't don't make it in the pros.
  7. Who knows. I noticed a lot of names left off that list, and I was surprised to see Humell their. I can say one thing, its a lot easier reading someone elses top prospect list then one from our site where the critism comes straight to us, lol.
  8. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.... I don't think you read my post, 'cuz they're not really being punished since they end up with more expendable money, anyways. Ya, but whose to say that they don't deserve the same cut off their money that the others get? It doesn't seem fair to me if you go out and make all your money that you have to give it away to others. Call me selfish or whatever, but in life, I want my money in my hands so I am set for retirement and can live a good life. Its why I am in college now and why I work part time during school year and full time during the summer.
  9. Investment is one of the best ways to stimulate the economy. If you go by terms of economic definitions then it would be investing in capital for businesses, but in the long run, money in the bank or money with other people helps everything grow cause they, the rich will spend it(investing, etc.) to increase their wealth and in term increase the wealth of others. Also if its sitting in the bank(more money in the bank), then interest rates will go down, which also stimulates investing. The economy has a whole lot of self correcting mechanisms and its one of my big reasons I think the government on the most part should stay the hell out of it cause capitalism is a great thing.
  10. The flaw is that why should those people who make more get more of their money taken away. They earned every penny of it, yet a whole lot of it gets taken away and if you race it then they get screwed out of even more money, to the point that their isn't much of a disparity between someone who makes 80k a year to someone who makes a whole less and when it comes to that point, we might as wbell call ourselves communist cause the majority will all be making the same and that sucks. The whole point in life is to shoot and always have higher goals and aspirations. Anyway, I think we all can agree communism sucks so I will end it at that. No, I'm not implying democrats are communist. I have nothing against democrats, I have my gripe with the democratic politicans cause many of them are the biggest liars out their. GOP has their fare share of liars too, but isn't near as much as the democrats.
  11. If we had an owner that would be willing to bring in both a pitcher and hitter, then Thome would be the perfect fit for this club. We'd dump Frank and add the left handed power stick that everyone likes and Thome is a classy guy. I've never heard a bad thing about him, and it appears that he only gets better with age. Of course in Jr's world we may not even get a pitcher which has to be our #1 need, so the Sox can't go out and spend a ton of money on a hitter and then sit their with the same lousy, questionable pitching staff. Thome would make this offense fabulous, but I think our offense is already a step above most in the majors, although it does hold some questionmarks, such as the top of the order. Either way its going to be the pitching staff that will put us in the playoffs and take us far. The offense will be their, its time for the pitchers to step up.
  12. I have to live with Dreaming, otherwise I'd go nuts.
  13. Webster is a guy that I know Cerb likes a whole lot. He's an outfielder if I remember right and he's supposed to be a great athlete. Yep, you are right though, got to get ready to get back in gear for the Minor League Stuff.
  14. Thibault played a great game and the Hawks did it on the road for their first road win of the season.
  15. I know one thing, if James Baldwin couldn't make a million and a half, then I don't know what Parque did to earn that type of money this upcoming year for any team. I happened to read somewhere where the Sox are considering bringing JB back for a real low salary.

"btw, smirnoff was made for women" I knew someone would come on out and say that.
  18. I just think that Parque isn't going to get a better offer then that from anyone else.
  19. I think they wouldn't do heroin and all that other crap, but Marijuana would overthrow tobacco if you ask me.
  20. I like that idea of taxing the hell out of those buying the drugs. I know they already tax the hell out of cigarettes, but I think most of that money goes to preventing further smoking. If the gov. wanted to turn a profit they'd just tax the hell out of drugs, like a 200% tax and just use it to improve hte country. Of course with a high/drugged up society, things wouldn't get done much. I could see the stories now, Munchies close down Jack in the Box!!!!
  21. Now if we can only get that Jason is a god article out their. :metal

Let me guess, you also put a freakin lime in that crap too. Just gimme a bud, if I'm gonna import something for beer, its going to be Tecate.
  24. Oh, please! Dry that myth about Young and you can fertilize the lawn. I know kids who went there who didn't live in the city and I also know kids who go/went there who are about as thick as a brick (but they're also worth quite a bit of money). And the problem isn't that New Trier is a better or worse school than like Morgan Park; the problem is that New Trier gets a ton more funding because its located in an area with higher property values. And everyone seems to still mis my point... I applaud people who work hard and try to better their lives. They should be rewarded with nicer things, bigger houses, etc. etc. HOWEVER, all people are entitled to proper shelter, adequate health care, and a decent education. No matter what, you should not be allowed to take these three basics away. It makes it SOOOOOO much easier to climb up and make something of your life when you have a place to go home to every night and a place to take a hot shower in the morning, and peace of mind knowing that if you get sick or injured, your finnacial life won't be catastrophically ruined. I think all children deserve those things, but if those children don't take advantage of what is given to them and just stay lazy and become crackheads or something, then screw them. Go spend your tax money on people that will take advantage of the help. Most of my friends think like you Matt, but I think since I work for a pretty good size company I simply see things different. It isn't wrong to want to help people, I think the thing is, a ton of people get helped and just mooch of it. It is those people that don't deserve the help and the system needs to be fixed so it doesn't happen. Its an impossible task to do, but hey...just cause its impossible doesn't mean you shouldn't work on it. Also, their is nothing I hate more then hearing about racism, because I Think all that quota crap is reverse racism. I understand that many other races get discrimminated, but I Know that I don't do that, nor do the majority of the people in the United States anymore and in all hoensty I don't see how forcing someone into a job, improves the situation. Its just like punishing those who did the discriminating and that doesn't solve anything. Discrimination will never completely go away, but its a whole lot better now, and it will only continue to become that way as the young people of America as well as the older people all meet more cultures and interact with them more and more often on a day to day basis.
