  1. BJ Ryan in to pitch. Hawk just called Ponson "Pahn-Sahn". I'm disecting odd things tonight. Wierd, huh?
  2. Leadoff double Olivo! Ripped down the left field line!
  3. Damn, Shingo down in the count 2-0.... Pop up on the infield!
  4. A tapper gets by Crede, Uribe holds. Bases loaded, two out. Huge, huge, huge moment in the game right now. Absolutely huge. Shingo will pitch.
  5. Buerhle losing it. Two two-out singles. Shingo warming up, Coop coming out.
  6. Konerko just misses one to deep left center.
  7. Good point. Lee received a pretty bad contract, especially with guys like Reed, and possibly even Borchard waiting in the wings. Good play Crede, they come home and get Roberts! EDIT: And let me add that good hitting firstbasemen are, as they say, a dime a dozen.
  8. Roberts leadoff double, damn, we score a run and Buerhle might let them comeback with a run of their own... He has killed us. Speed aboard.
  9. Meh.... Who would you stick at first? I think we all know Ross Gload wouldn't be able to handle the first base duties - don't get me wrong, I like Ross, but he's a utility player and a nice lefty bat to have off the bench. That's all. If we could get Lee for Garcia straight up - and if this Sox organization believe Reed is ready to handle the big leagues, that's a pretty hard deal to pass up, especially for a guy with Garcia's stuff. Reed in left, Harris in center, as well as Valentin at short. Our lineup now is a little bit faster, a little better at just getting contact, and a little bit less right handed heavy.
  10. Thomas two out double, Mags scores. Nice two out rally there. Tie Game! Way to go the other way Big Frank!
  11. Damn, Willie flies out to deep right center. Let's go guys! Wake up time!!!!
  12. Miguel Olivo singled in two, Konerko and Perez. Os loaded the bases. Mora walked, scoring one, Tejada sac flied, scoring another. Gibbons homered, making it 3-2 Os. Sorry that I didn't include innings.
  13. Damn, Olivo with a rip to right center, but the CFer gets there. Missed opportunity.
  14. Ordonez and Lee have been anti-clutch lately. Include Frank in there too. If we want to win, our big-bats need to step up. I can understand if you're going through a cold spell, but even then you need come up with a clutch hit here and there...
  15. Mora walks, 2-1 Sox, Bases loaded for the Os, Bottom 3.
  16. Bases loaded, nobody out, for the Os. Bottom 3. We're in trouble...
  17. The pitches that Scott throws are the cutter and the changeup? Cambiar = to change, so I'm assuming Changeup is cambio. Cortador kind of looks like Cut, so cutter. Can I get a Si o un No, senor?
  18. Cool, I actually understood that. Maybe my Espanol 3 class is helping out. I think the Royals have a solid lineup, but their only good starter who can be consistent IMO is Gobble, and he's still young and unproven.
  19. Hey two OT questions here: In the Sporting News, talking about Scott Schoenwies, they said he's added a sinker that's helped him out a lot. I just want to know because for MVP I don't have him with a sinker, but they said he's got a real good sinker. Can anyone comment on that? And, what does Diaz throw? How high is his fastball velocity-wise? Does he get hitters out more on pure stuff, control/movement, or just throwing it by hitters? Thanks for anyone who helps clarify.
  20. Sorry, this is coming a bit late, but I would have rather had someone called up to pitch this game. I guess I'm OK with it, I'm just really not a huge fan of working your pitchers a lot early, look at Carlos Zambrano last season...
  21. Yo no gusta Mark Buerhle ir en cinco dias (and however you say rest in spanish.) I don't like Mark Buerhle going on five days rest. But that's beside the point, let's get a White Sox Winner Tonight! Let's go Sox! Harris out.
  22. Didn't Buerhle do pretty damn good in his last start vs. Toronto? Seven innings vs Halladay, two runs? Is that struggling? Damn people it's one game, and we have six outs yet. I doubt many of us thought we could come back against Tampa Bay, or Cleveland, or KC. That's why there's nine innings.
