***Official 4/30 Game Thread***
It's pretty sweet - Boyer said that they're going to have a little thing on whitesox.com where you can email the team on any ideas you have. I'm going to email them about perhaps a High School Discount - perhaps the upper deck seats at half price with a high-school ID.

Liefer locked in the can
Yeah he was on with Bernstien and Mulligan. LOL, he said when he finally came back onto the field, the guys from the other team threw toilet paper at him.

Reinsdorf on the score
Yeah, the only good question IMO was from Brian, who asked about the White Sox World Series championship, however, Pappy cut him off before he could get in more. BS about how "Did anyone think the Marlins/Angels would do what they did?" We lost the starter who gave us the most innings, we lost some relievers, and we might lose the face of the team next year. If Jerry really wanted a World Series title, he would have gave Colon the money he wanted, and Mags would already be resigned. Because of that interview, I think I hate the guy even more... :fyou

Reinsdorf on the score
Reinsdorf, I respect him for talking to the fans on the radio, but IMO, he's giving BS answers.

And my stomach has just gone... well, it's gone.... BTW, at my volleyball game today, I had the worst feeling. I was just standing in line for a drill, and a ball that someone spiked came right at me, well, at my lower region. It got me right where it hurts, and I was down for about 10 minutes. Man that sucked. Where the hell did that come from? :headshake

Dransfeldt grounds out. But: I'd like to give props to Kelly for doing one hell of a job filling in for Valentin. Aside from not being able to get a bunt down here and there, he's done very, very well. He's going the other way, and filling in on the basepaths. Great job, Kelly! Koch warming up in the pen.

I thought Ventura was at first? I could be wrong though, I don't see many Dodger games. Cotts, 1-2-3 inning! That a boy!

I apologize, I was one of those people. However, I never advocated trading Thomas, just Paully. I'm sorry, Paully!

I think they're actually pretty happy with Encarnacion, Bradley, and Green as their outfield.

Yep. He's the total package, he's got a rocket for a shot, plays good defense, and can just knock the crap out of you if you got your head down going through the neutral zone. I was hoping the Hawks would have gotten pick 1 or 2, Ovechkin and Ruutu would be a nice combo. I guess Olesz is considered the Czech-like Ruutu with a little less hitting and a little more offense. Back to the game, I hope Thomas keeps this mindset all year. He is getting on base at a very good rate right now, let's hope it continues. Lee grounds out, fielder's choice. Runner on first, one out. Konerko up.

Jester, I see the Ruutu picture in your sig, and it pisses me off that there might not be hockey next year. I know this year sucked, but watching Ruutu develop and just dominate the second half of the season was so much fun.

Wow, 3-0, and Delgado swings, grounding one to Konerko. Nice job, Neal! Solid!

Grab some pine, Clarky-boy! Off Topic: Has anybody else noticed Cliff Politte's inability, or his not wanting to go inside on any hitters? If you watch him, he always throws away-away-away. Anyone else notice this?

I love Cotts jog-in from the leftfield bullpen!

Good point, but if Harris is able to play well enough, why rush him? Obviously, if the Sox feel he can do a better job than Harris and Rowand, then bring him up. But I'd be worried that we rushed him too fast. Again though, if he has what it takes, I'm all for him up with the big club right in that two hole.

Anyone know Loaiza's pitch count at the moment?

Harris is helping his cause a lot more than Rowand is... When Valentin comes up, Ozzie is going to have to make a decision... Personally, I'd move Uribe to second, keep Valentin at short, and move Harris to center. Mags pops out, inning over, damage done!
