Calm down. First, it wasn't Sandy's fault, he had no chance on either of them. Shoe is taking a long time on all of his deliveries, and isn't even checking the runners. Why throw if there's no chance to get the runner out and risk it going into center? It's Shoe's fault.

I'm worried that some of our pitchers seem to miss their spots, a lot. Like, watching Damaso, it seemed as if Olivo wanted the ball on the outside corner twice, and both time Marte went into. Not making a big deal of it, I'm just pointing it out. Then again, I'll take outs any way they come.

Actually I love that hat. I like the jersey too, but that hat rocks. Spelling out Sox in that sort of generic lettering looks cool IMO. I wonder where I could get one of those. Anyone know? Grandstand, perhaps?

All in all, we still gained a half a game yesterday. Right now, it's 2-2 Yanks - Royals through five, and Affeldt is on the mound vs the Moose. The Yanks are heating up at the right time. They're having an All-April team based on numbers in April so far this season. Well, they have Michael Young at SS rather than Uribe, so I compared numbers. Uribe - 394 Avg, 4 homers, 12 RBIs, 434 OBP Young - 356 Avg, 3 homers, 17 RBIs, 404 OBP. Close, oh well. I guess they could have chose either.

Like someone said earlier in the thread, don't think about Burke as a third catcher. He plays multiple positions including 3B IIRC, and is just an extra bat off of the bench. You can also now sub catchers and still have another catcher off the bench. They'll go to a four man rotation for the next week or so, until they actually need the fifth starter.

Miller Park = Awesome. I was there during an interleague Sox vs Brewers game back when Jose Canseco was in right field. That park is simply gorgeous. Speaking of which, what parks have you guys been to? I've been to the Skydome, The Ballpark in Arlington, Tropicana Field, Turner Field, Jacobs Field, Old Tiger Stadium, Comerica Park, the dump up north, and of course, US Cellular.

I believe it was "Koch's Crowd." Well, it's nice to know that some people still have faith in Billy. I must say though, that he has looked good his past few outtings.

My apologies, I didn't mean for it be mean-spirited. I am as much of a Sox supporter as anyone. I will NEVER, EVER, cheer for a person/team to lose, in any state of mind. I just really have never liked the guy (not personal or anything, just the way he pitches), even during his 14 win season. His velocity isn't so high as he can just blow it by hitters, his control/movement has never been very good either IMO. That being said, I do think there's a spot for him in the bullpen. He's succeeded there, and I think there's a lot of us on this board who feel that way. Sorry that you took it harshly. My apologies, I'll try to word it differently next time.
