I'd also like to say that winning these one run games, and making comebacks should help us in the long run as well. This team should be confident that (hopefully, if they make it that far), if we do indeed make the playoffs, this team should feel confident that it can come back from any series deficit (dare I say, like the Marlins of a year ago?) I hope so.

I think of the available pitchers ( I don't want to deal with Oakland, that would be giving up too much in return ), I think the Garcia has the best stuff, and could turn into an ace very quickly. He's only 27, and like I said, has some very good stuff. I don't want to have to give up the farm, unless it's for an awesome, awesome pitcher (The only pitcher I can think of that might be available that I'd want is Halladay). Garcia would sort of be a dump for Seattle, if the Sox would only have to give up Lee to get Garcia, I'd do that in a heartbeat.

Zito would be nice in our rotation - or Mulder - or Hudson, for the fact of it. But Zito has struggled early thus far, 6.38 ERA through five starts. Then again, how much can one really tell from five starts? Tejada, Raffy, and Lopez against Shingo. Big inning here. Let's Go Shin-Go! DUM DUM DUM DUM DUM!
