QUOTE (Kalapse @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 11:28 PM) Ok so according to Cowley Broadway has been promoted and will start tonight's game, Getz goes back to AAA. It makes sense I suppose, this way Richard can work out of the pen and go a few innings if needed. didnt see this coming, but ok. im still pissed about this first game. Lets win 3/4

QUOTE (Jake @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 10:35 PM) Well Horacio has a good opportunity today to show that he is to be trusted as big time reliever for us. Lets hope he can have a good inning, but they are sending up some good hitters. Huff has been great this year...

QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 10:29 PM) Ugh, why? We have Carrasco or Thornton in the pen. With Richard on the mound in game 2 and CQ up in the bottom of the inning, we should be doing everything we can to get 3 quick outs. Instead, we're putting a guy on the mound who's been giving up about 2 hits per inning. correct lol

Crede Activated; Wise placed on DL
QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Aug 25, 2008 -> 08:09 PM) If you really read this thread, and others on the board, no one is arguing this. Im not so sure about that.

Crede Activated; Wise placed on DL
When Crede is healthy he is 10x the player Uribe is. Uribe has been great defensively dont get me wrong. Everyone has talked about how "spectacular" he has been, but he is hitting .259 in the last month. Thats not tearing the cover off the ball. If Crede proves he is healthy, he could be very vital to our playoff run. Anyone who says they would like a healthy Juan over a healthy Joe is ridiculous. In my opinion. I think Crede may be the key to a great September.
