To be honest, I forgot how good Garcia was and yes, my thoughts hve changed. I first hated the trade cause of the future studs we gave up and didn't think we should have gave up that much. But seeing Garcia pitch suddenly made me realize we could go deep in September (hopefully October) with this man and we have a stronger rotation. I'm lovin it.

Bingo! Even if Perez, Gload, etc.. don't play as much, they are already hot enough to pinch hit/play on a 5+ days rest on any given day. We had this problem last year when Manuel would pinch hit someone out of the blue who hasn't played in 15+ games and couldn't find his swing (except graffy who mostly delivered.) This makes our bench a hell of alot deeper and will help us in the long run.

He should go but I doubt he does. If he does indeed go, I'll be as a setup man nothing more, nothing less.

Seeing it Friday or Saturday with the buds! :headbang

He is 19, and I believe he played 3b today. He's batting .519 I think right now (even though it's still early) is still outstanding. I just hope he keeps it up.

That's a kid I think who can be a surprise. Saw this earlier and I'm glad Davis and Garcia are getting fresh starts on the southside. Davis to me can be like Barrett is right now with the cubs. Both had crappy years with their previous teams but Barrett came to a new team and is really having a good year with the cubs. Both were also considered good players with bright upsides. IMO, Davis does the same with us this year and the next.

Damn it's too bad you can't really fool a rookie with a fastball esp. with his deceptive delivery. Shingo is still awesome to watch.. BTW, his era now is 1.19 so he must suck..

The only negative comming out of this game was this. Joe "friggin stud" Mauer took him deep ending the streak. But congratulations to Shingo pitching 26 2/3 without giving up s***.

Freedy pitched very well today. I knew he would have some jitters but from the first 4 innings the Twins couldn't touch him. Watch him in his next start. I bet he'll have an outstanding outing.
