Willie with a hit, tried to stretch it to a double and got out. Willie got alittle carried away here even though he is hitting gonzalez very well today.

I would not a call up from him. He is really pitching well in AAA and is still very young (24 this season) If Wright does struggle in his next couple outings, then eigher give Cotts or Diaz a shot.

They will learn Ozzie ball as this season progresses. It's still very early into the season and we have a winning record. Be satisfied of what we have rather than talk about the negatives too much.

Who's Melvyn Mora?
Seems like the versitile Mora was better suited to the team than to find him a perminite position. IMO, I think he is better suited for the outfield. He has made some unbelieveable plays there and he uses his speed more. But The Orioles thought otherwise cause the OF positions are somewhat crowded..

You are right Jas. Totally forgot about the years he spent down there. Sweeney is considered "a god" by some scouts so I still think he can handle his own. Even some players said it can be even difficult to handle minor league pitching than the major leagues..

Sox are in a position where they are at least hoping they will be in a playoff chase and calling up a 19 year old in the heat of the race, would not be a wise move, imo.
The Marlins did it with Cabrera, and he turned out to really help them..
Sweeney also proved he can hit major league pitching, so I can see him doing the same as well. Maybe not this September, but very soon.
