  1. Engel would've caught it.
  2. Lets see if Ricky lets Rondon steal here.... LOL. Sorry I couldn't type that with a straight face.
  3. Bummer hitting 96-97.
  4. You know you suck when Benetti and Stone want you to strikeout and go to first after a wild pitch in the dirt.
  5. Our bullpen is so bad minus the 2 vets.

I missed his last AB, but this one he actually was laying off a couple of pitches low and away. Then they tried to get him upstairs but he was fouling them off. They got him on a 3-2 breaking ball low though but he was not overmatched.
  7. Hey a Kopech sighting.
  8. If he did send him then that's just bad and my apologies to Abreu (I still have Abreu running over his stop sign in my head. I believe it was in Detroit).
  9. Nice Rondon! Giolito off the hook for a loss.

Robert down 0-2 in the count works a 3-2, 10 pitch strikeout (fouled off 7 pitches in the process)
  11. Abreu... c'mon.

  13. Once he started throwing 96, all of his pitches lost effectiveness lol. He had a legit 12-6 one though when he was a hot head in the Angels system (and his rookie season/first couple of years).
  14. Him and Jenks had 2 of the better ones I've seen with us. Butter Parque had a pretty one.. but it was loopy.
  15. True. I see more high... and away... sometimes way away when it's a show me.
  16. That is what Floyd use to do. But Floyd would also bury it in the dirt if need be too. He had complete control of his curve most of the time. Gio is lucky if he even has half the control most nights. Thats the difference.
  17. It was a hook. Froze a couple of guys down there. Back in those days, I'll admit spin rate wasn't a thing that I was looking at or was popular. I use to miss 98-100 mph Gio too until I realized it isn't about velocity if the spin rate isn't there.
  18. No it was legit good at one point. I saw him pitch in the sally as a 19 year old a couple of times. That thing was Floyd-esc. He was also throwing 98-100 too so...
  19. Wow... Cordell pulled an Engel.
  20. He better be. 98 pitches and missed time. Would be monumentally stupid.
  21. Against Boston and not pitching for 10 days, Giolito was very good tonight. I don't think Ricky is THAT stupid to trot him back out there for the 6th, so nice outing.
  22. Now that was good pitch selection.
  23. Must be nice to have a stud pitch framer behind the plate.
  24. Tip your cap Moncada. That was a good pitch.
